Deutsche Reichsbahn DR 130 Diesel Loc double decker coaches TILLIG VEB PSW DDR

Description

This is a TT scale DR Class 130 Ludmilla Diesel locomotive of the East German DDR DR Deutsche Reichsbahn with 2 double decker coaches.
The coaches are like new, in the box, have never run and just been on static display. Tillig Nr 13730. They are very nicely detailed with full double decker interior. The Locomotive is pretty old, as I have had it for several decades and bought it used already. It is marked VEB PSW which I believe may be the predecessor to Piko. Since i do not have and have never had any TT rails, this poor thing has not run in all the time I had it. I applied DC power from my HO layout to the wheels and nothing happened. I proceeded to take it apart, and oil the gears and cardan couplings, as well as clean the wheel and brass pickups and got it to run. the power pickup is from front and rear axles of both bogies, the traction is on two front axles of both bogies, so there is a lot of power available. I cleaned the wheels and put a drop of oil on all gears and ran it for several minutes using jumpers and it started to come back alive. I put it back together and applied power to the unpowered wheels and it ran also. so once it gets to sit on a TT track, it should start to break in again. The locomotive is in good shape, see photos, and runs. But does need breaking in of the wheels for pickup and motor to get used to working again. Headlights work and change direction. I modified the box, so that the loc will fit in there as well. I do not have the original loc box! International shipping is optional, contact me first!
