    Description

    Team Russia KTM
    1977 British 250 Grand Prix
KTM took the 250cc World Motocross Grand Prix Championship in 1977 with a 1st, 2nd and 3rd placing. The riders at the time were Russians, Guennady Moiseev, Vladimir Kavinov,( ) and Andre Malherbe (Belgium). This poster shot is from the 1977 British 250cc Grand Prix at Hawkstone Park just outside of Hopton, England. Moiseev clinched the championship with wins in both motos at this race while there were still two more GP's to go for the series, Sweden and Switzerland. Another notable in this race would be the Frenchman Jean Jacque Bruno (KTM) with a 3,5 finish for 2nd overall. Hans Maisch, son of Maico, with a 8,3 finish for 3rd overall. Kavinov and Malherbe tied for 4th overall with a 2,dnf and a dnf,2. Respectivly, J.J Bruno finish 10th for the season and another Russian teammate Anatoly Ovchinnikov finishing 14th, both on KTM of course.
A great year for KTM as well as the Russians. These two Russian racers brought many wins to the KTM factory making it a strong mark and a popular off road manufacturer to this day. Moiseev especially after winning the 250 World Championship for KTM in 1974 and 1978 as well.
Excellent color and pixelation also, looks detailed up close as well as from a distance. Suitable for framing or just hang it in your Garage, man cave or wherever.
    Poster measures 60cm X 84cm (23
.5" X 33.25"). Will be shipped in sturdy cardboard poster tube.
