Description

For the serious Incubus fan, this is a limited / rare AUTOGRAPHED CD in its original shrink wrap.
Only 100 copies were signed.
Mike Einziger and Jose Pasillas played to a sold out crowd their very first show with the Time-Lapse Consortium on January 24, 2003 at the Roxy Theatre in West Hollywood, CA.  A limited release of 10,000 CDs from this show quickly sold out.  Only 100 copies were signed by the band members.
A special appearance was made by Brandon Boyd who joined the Time-Lapse Consortium for two tunes including "A Certain Shade of Green" and "Tres Puntos".
It was an instrumental voyage into the world of psychedelic funk and featured the musical talents of:
Michael Einziger (Incubus)
Jose Pasillas II (Incubus)
Suzi Katayama
Ben Kenney (Incubus, formerly of The Roots)
Neal Evans (Soulive) and accompanied by an 11-piece orchestra!
Time Lapse Consortium is an idea that had been swirling around in my brain for quite some time. For years I've been fascinated by the great bandleaders and arrangers of the 50's and 60's. With all of those instruments, it's like being able to paint a picture with many different colors. It's a very different experience from writing music for a standard rock and roll setup. I teamed up with my longtime musical buddy Suzie Katayama, who wrote the beautiful string and wind arrangements on Aqueous Transmission, as well as other songs on the Morning View album. As well as Jose, Ben Kenney, and Neal Evans (who is probably the most talented organ player I've ever seen.) With only three days of rehearsal, and a genuine excitement in the air, we did a performance at the Roxy Theatre in Hollywood, CA on January 24, 2003. The show was one of the best musical experiences I've ever had. And here is the recording of that show, mistakes and all. Enjoy! - mike
