Triple Pressed Stearic Acid for Candles, 4 lbs

This listing is for 4 pounds of EMERSOL 132 NF Stearic Acid.  In candle making, stearic acid is often added to wax to make it harder and because it has mold release properties. Because the stearic acid in this listing is so pure, when used as an additive in candles, it should produce a minimum of black smoke and/or unwanted odor.  If you are interested in using stearic acid for making soap, you should use a double pressed stearic acid instead because it will have a higher Iodine number.
