Vintage Rawleighs Embossed Amber Medicine Bottle 8-1/2"x2-7/8" Baffle Mk Beveled

Description

This is a dark amber/brown glass medicine bottle, embossed, "Rawleigh's" with a horizontal line embossed above the name, and embossed #3 at center of pontil area; measuring 8-1/2" tall, by 2-7/8" wide, by 1-5/8" deep. All four corner edges are beveled from base bottom to shoulders. The bottle isn't cleaned and body doesn't show any seam lines, but there are two very faint, (opposite sided) seam lines found from above the shoulder to lip top. It's a double ring cork-top and holds nearly 12-ozs., to top of rim. It's in good condition without chips or cracks, but needs cleaning and has an iridized patina
. Base is recessed with a round baffle on the pontil extending above the heel and into body's front side. Stretching could've caused the bottom lettering to appear skewed (I think) to the trademark name. Item weighs 13.6-ozs., before packaging, and
